- 2012370007 Section J Attachment 21 - MPF refractory specification 2012370007 Section J Attachment 20 - MPF drawings 2012370007 Section J Attachment 7a - Safety Task Assessment 2012370007 solicitation to remove refractory material from Metal Parts Furnace (MPF) system This solicitation is for the removal of refractory from the Metal Parts Furnace (MPF) system at Pine Bluff Chemical Agent Disposal Facility (PBCDF). A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting is scheduled for January 10, 2012. Subcontractors that have performed similar work on PBCDF in the past six months are not required to attend in order to provide a proposal. In order to attend the pre-bid meeting, prospective bidders must submit a Visitor Notification Form (VNF) on or before January 5, 2012 in accordance with Section L.13. VNFs received after January 5 th will not be allowed to access the site and will, therefore, be unable to provide a proposal. Bidders will be considered responsive upon submittal of items listed in Section L.10, Required Proposal Submittals. Bidders will be required to submit an execution summary, previous job references, list of proposed PPE and the resume of the on-site supervisor, among other documents. These documents will be reviewed to ensure compliance with the statement of work and to ensure the bidder has an accurate understanding of the magnitude of the work to be performed. If it is determined that the bidder does not have a firm understanding of the work to be performed based on the execution summary and/or proposed PPE, the bidder will be determined non-responsive. The work will be performed within a 30-day period. The specific period will be identified via a Notice to Proceed.
