- Description
- The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) intends to award on a sole-source basis a modification to enhance and provide additional functionality to an existing system developed by SRI International that will provide semi-automated, analyst-in-the-loop tools and enabling technologies for geo-location of metadata-free hand-held videos and images of both natural and urban terrain. This system can significantly reduce analysts' workload and increase the response time and success rate. These enhancements include the improvement of algorithms in order to improve efficiency and system performance. NGA also has a requirement for the development of interfaces both with existing GIS systems and with Ozone Widgets for the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) standard compliant web services. Lastly, NGA has a requirement to provide support for the operational testing and evaluation of the existing system and technical support. All responses will be evaluated.
