- Synopsis VA Healthcare NCO 23 Minneapolis Contracting Office intends to negotiate a commercial (FAR Part 12) sole source contract with The Advisory Board Company, Inc. 2245 M St. NW Washington,DC 20037-1435, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 North American Industry Classification Code is 541618 Size Stand $7.0 Million. The solicitation document and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-37. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy Agency requirements. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. The requirement is for new and renewal memberships in the Advisory Board Company for memberships in the Health Care Advisory Board, Nursing Executive Center and Clinical Advisory Board for various NCO 23 locations. The Advisory Board Company provides its members with research, access to website, print publications, decision support tools, teleconferences,national meetings and other advisory service delivery mechanisms that proactively support the Department of Veterans Affairs VA Healthcare NCO 23 mission. The government intends to award a firm, fixed price contract for a 12 month base plus one 12 month option period. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes, however,any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Inquiries will only be accepted in writing. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Information can be sent to Allen Brown at allen.brown1@va.gov or to VA Network 23 Contracting Office at 708 South Third St. Suite 200E Minneapolis MN 55415. All inquiries must be received by the government by 2:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time (EST) January 6,2012 and will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no responses are received the Minneapolis VA NCO 23 Contracting Office will proceed to sole source this requirement to The Advisory Board Company.
