Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to award a firm fixed price contract for the repair of Alaris Infusion Pumps, to be shipped from and delivered to the Durham, NC, Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Delivery of the repaired infusion pumps will be made to the Durham VA Medical Center, located at 508 Fulton St., Durham, NC, 27705. The requested repair time is three weeks after receipt of pumps. Forty (40) Alaris Infusion Pumps, models 7130 and 7230 require repair. The pumps have mechanism, case, occlusion alarm, and air in line problems. The contractor shall provide infusion pump repair in strict accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions and specification of this solicitation. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 811219. Small business size is $19.0 million. The VA anticipates issuing a request for quote for this requirement via FedBizOps (www.fbo.gov) on or about December 27, 2011, with a closing date for proposals on or about December 29, 2011. The anticipated award date is January 4, 2012. This acquisition is a total set aside for verified Veteran Owned Small Businesses. Responses from other than verified VOSBs or verified SDVOSBs will not be accepted. Quotations will be evaluated using the following factors: technical, past performance, and price. The lowest priced technically acceptable offer will be accepted. All requirements for submitting a solicitation can be found in Section E of the solicitation document. Please read and follow the proposal preparation instructions in Section E carefully.
