- Description
- Justification DISA/DITCO intends to issue a sole source contract to Manhattan Associates, Inc., 2300 Windy Ridge Parkway, Ste. 1000, Atlanta, GA 30339-5665. This acquisition is for software maintenance support for Supply Chain Intelligence (SCI) software products for Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA). Manhattan Associates has proprietary rights to the software code for the SCI software products associated with this requirement and is the only known source that can provide this maintenance support. No other vendor or distributor can legally obtain access to the software, and no other vendor can make duplicate copies since it is protected by copyright and patent laws. The period of performance will consist of a base year beginning from the date of award through 21 March 2012 followed by three one-year Option periods. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Companies who can provide the above listed software maintenance must request a copy of the solicitation via email to lynn.buss@disa.mil. Responses are due by 2:00 P.M. (Central Time) on 30 December 2011. The resultant contract will be firm fixed price. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered. The NAICS code is 541519 for this procurement. Justification is attached.
