Description
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs intends to lease approximately 9,999 square feet of first/ground-floor clinical space in Union Grove, Wisconsin for a new Outpatient Clinic Serving Veterans. The area of consideration is defined below: "Delineated Area: "West Boundary: East side of S. Beaumont Rd./248th Ave. "North Boundary: South side of Plank Rd./County Hwy A "East Boundary: West side of Interstate 94 "South Boundary: North side of Burlington Rd. No other areas will be considered for the clinic. "Space must be ADA compliant. "Space must be accessible for VA use 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. "Space must be on the ground floor. "A minimum of 25 on-site parking spaces is required. Access to the space from parking must not involve traversing a busy road, highway or other thoroughfare. "Space must be accessible by public transportation within 1,000 feet of main entrance. "Space must be available for occupancy by August 01, 2012. "A market survey, including an appraisal of properties offered for lease will be conducted by the VA. "Interested parties should respond to Michael Gove, Contracting Officer, no later than 12:00 PM Friday, January 06, 2012. "Responses, including a description that the property meets the minimum space/parking requirements above, a photo of the building, general layout of the space offered, location of the space and approximate SF cost, should be mailed to: Specialized Contracts Team Great Lakes Acquisition Center 115 S. 84th St., Suite 101 Milwaukee WI 53214 "Alternatively, the information above may be sent electronically to: michael.gove@va.gov with a copy to michael.chester3@va.gov and james.hedman@va.gov by the closing date. If sent electronically, it is advised that a read receipt is requested by the respondent. "Respondents are advised that the VA assumes no responsibility to award a lease based on the responses to this advertisement. NOTE: The Government is limited by law (40 USC 278a, as Amended 10-1-81) to pay no more than the appraised fair rental value for space. This advertisement is not a Solicitation for Offers (SFO), nor is it a Request for Lease Proposal (RLP). An SFO or RLP may be issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs at a later date.
