- Industry Day event procedures The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) is hosting an Industry Day event in support of Pre-Solicitation PBGC01-RP-12-0004, IT Infrastructure Operation Support Services (ITIOSS), scheduled for Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at the PBGC Headquarters, 1200 K Street, NW, Washington, DC 20005-4026. Registration will begin at 8:00 am to 8:45 am. The event will start promptly at 9:00 am and concludes at 12:00 pm (Eastern Standard Time). DRAFT RFP will be posted around January 6, 2012. The primary objective of the pre-solicitation Industry Day event is to provide additional information in support of receiving written Industry comments and feedback by January 20, 2012. RSVP and Questions Submission This event is limited to two (2) attendees per vendor. Attendees are required to RSVP to Norman Cofer, Senior Contract Specialist at Cofer.Norman@pbgc.gov and Roland Thomas, Contracting Officer at Thomas.Roland@pbgc.gov with company's name, attendee's first name and last name by 2:00 PM EST Tuesday, January 10, 2012. This Industry Day event is for informational purposes only. All official solicitation/amendments will be posted to FBO upon receiving final approval. ADDITIONAL CONFERENCE DETAILS: Parking: The parking space is very limited at the event building. Visitors need to make proper arrangement for parking at neighboring area. RSVP visitors will need to pay for their parking upon entry. There is NO parking validation. Unescorted visitors are required to exit garage and enter PBGC's main lobby security check point. Security In-Processing Procedures: All RSVP visitors will need to present valid government-issued ID and will complete the visitor check-in process. Visitors are encouraged to arrive at least 30-45 minutes prior to event time for the security and registration process as The AGENCY anticipates a large response to this invitation. The Government requests that industry utilize the FedBizOpps as their source for obtaining updates to this notice.
