- The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with 3D Systems Inc 333 Three D Systems CIR Rock Hill, SC 29730-7811 for 1 year of monthly maintenance with (four) one year renewal option periods for one service plan for Stereolithography (SLA) Maintenance in accordance with FAR 6.302-1.The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System currently has the equipment that requires maintenance, repairs and technical support. 3D Systems are the manufacturer of the (SLA) and have qualified technicians who perform maintenance, software upgrades and replacement of parts. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Parties may identify their interest; accompanied by supporting literature, to the Contracting Officer no later than December 29, 2011 at 09:00 a.m. EST. Responses should be sent to johnny.barton@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. Information received will be for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. The determination to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 541512.
