- The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract to AT&T for relocation of an existing AT&T provided OCN OC-192 SONET service infrastructure as a result of a base MILCON project at Camp Roberts, CA. AT&T has sole ownership of this SONET fiber infrastructure provided to DISA. All work associated with this contract must be accomplished without causing downtime or loss of service to the existing mission essential communications. Any service interruption incurred would result in substantial adverse impact to multiple critical users. AT&T is the only Contractor capable of providing the requested services without substantial duplicative and additional cost to the government as well as unacceptable delay and risk to mission essential services that are existing and provided today. This announcement is for information purposes only. Please note: DITCO will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. Responses received will be given due consideration as required by law. If you believe your business to be capable of satisfying the above requirement, please submit the below information to the points of contact listed within this notice. a. Company Information. Brief description of the effort. The capability package must be clear, concise, and complete. DITCO is under no obligation to provide feedback to the company, or to contact the company for clarification of any information submitted in response to this request. Capability packages should be limited to no more than five pages and delivered to the DITCO Primary Point of Contact no later than 3:00 pm CST, 30 Dec 11.
