- NOTICE OF INTENT This is a Notice of Intent from the United States Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), to exercise the second year of a fixed price contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures, with George Washington University, Center for Excellence in Public in Public Leadership, locate at 2033 K. Street, NW, Suite 240, Washington, DC., in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Part 6.302-1(a) (B) (iii) (A), Only One Responsible Source and no other Supplies will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The proposed contract action is for commercial services using Commercial Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 12. The Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12.6 and the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source. FAR 52.212-1, 52.212-2, 52.212-3 and 52.212-5 apply to this award. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611310 and the Business Size Standard is 500 employees. The Product Service Code is U008. The National Employees Development Center of the Natural Resources Conservation Service will exercise the second year of the Emerging Leaders Development Program contract. As a follow on contract, the second year will continue to target training new supervisors for their development to immediately be applied in the work environment, addressing organizational needs, and designd for individuals who have significant leadership responsibilities which may include functional (departmental) supervisor responsibilities, cross-functional team responsibilities or other similar leadership roles. A determination by the Government not to compete this deliver order is at the sole discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. This is a notice and a solicitation will not be issued. NRCS will not respond to requests for solicitation copies and will not pay for information received in response to this announcement.
