Description
This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought/Request for Information (RFI). This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The following information is provided to identify potential contractors who have the skills, experience, and knowledge required to successfully provide the described capability. This specification establishes the performance, design, development, and test requirements for the Injector Cycling Test Station, herein referred to as the ICTS. The Injector Cycling Test Station shall be manufactured in accordance with these documents. 2.1. Government documents. AFR 39-1 Airman Classification Regulation, 30 Apr 1988 Hill AFB Instruction 91-302, Control of Hazardous Energy S-133-128-C Appendix II-X Non Nuclear Environment for Maintenance Equipment, Excluding the following paragraph and subparagraphs: 20.3.2 Temperature and Humidity 20.3.3 Altitude/pressure 20.3.13 ESD Environments 20.3.14 Vibration Shock Environments MIL-HDBK-1857 GROUNDING, BONDING AND SHIELDING DESIGN PRACTICES 27 March 1998 OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 The control of hazardous energy (lockout/tagout) OSHA 29 CFR 1910.269 Electric Power Generation, Transmission, and Distribution The ICTS is a single bay, manually operated test station that interfaces with the Minuteman III, Stage III, P116A1 flight control unit servoinjectors to perform the following: a. Open and close each servoinjector continuously, in a closed-loop, about a specific bias point, while the servoinjector is being independently vibrated. b. Record, via a waveform recorder, 3 electrical signals for each servoinjector, specifically, the command voltage to the closed-loop, the applied servoinjector motor voltage, and the servoinjector demodulated transducer output voltage. Interface definition. Physical/electrical. The ICTS has physical and electrical interfaces with the following: Major components. The current ICTS consists of the following major components. Company name and Cage Code 2. Company POC name, email address and phone number 3. Experience with same or similar items/capability, please describe. Information submitted should be pertinent and specific to that which is indicative of the offeror's capabilities to successfully perform this effort. Information provided should not exceed 10 pages. 4. Suggested NAICS Code. 5. Business Size Classification for NAICS and qualifications if any as a sub-category (i.e., 8(a), HUB Zone, SDVOSB, etc.). 6. Lead time for delivery. The government does not intend to contract on the basis of this request or otherwise pay for the information solicited herein. The information provided is considered market research and may be utilized by the AF in developing its acquisition strategy, State of Objectives, and Performance Specifications. Any proprietary information this is submitted may be used as general concept buy specific information will be safeguarded as proprietary, if so marked. Copies of your submitted information will be distributed to the program manager, AF engineer and the contracting officer for review.
