- Description
- This is a Synopsis only The Request for Proposal will be posted to FedBizOpps on or around January 17, 2012. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business participation. The contract may contain a basic year plus four (4) annual option periods. This will be a non-commercial, competitive acquisition, based on lowest price. Place of performance: Robins Air Force Base, GA Upcoming requirement is for Rehabilitation Specialist services in support of maintenance workers at Robins AFB with sustained injuries or long term issues with previous injuries that affect the employee's duty status or job performance. The Rehabilitation Specialist program is an interventional strategy to improve readiness by decreasing injury rates, improve return to full duty status rates and enhance civilian employee performance. Current requirement is for three (3) full time Rehabilitation Specialists. Option years will be included to increase or decrease quantity at the discretion of the Government based on need. Contractor may be required to work other than normal dayshift operating hours which would include evening (night shift) or night (owl shift). The possibility exists that an Administrative Technician will be required to support the Rehabilitation Specialists. Current requirement would be for one (1) full time Administrative Technician to support three (3) full time Rehabilitation Specialists. Option years will be included to increase quantity at the discretion of the Government based on need. Data will be required IAW DD1423's Performance Work Statement, DD1423's, and Appendix C will be attached to the Request for Proposal.
