- The Orlando VA Medical Center will issue a written Request for Quote (RFQ) under number VA248-12-Q-0129 for the requirement for Hemodialysis Water Purification System equipment, installation and set-up/testing for the hemodialysis clinic. Only one award will be made as a result of this solicitation. The Hemodialysis Water Purification System is being procured as an Unrestricted acquisition. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 333319. Product Requirements and Intended Use: The Orlando VAMC will require an FDA 510k compliant/approved hemodialysis water purification system and installation for its under construction hemodialysis clinic at the Lake Nona Medical City location in Orlando, FL. The system will provide AAMI medical standard dialysis water (ANSI/AAMI/ISO 13959:2009 approved 22 March 2011 (AAMI) and 22 April 2011 (ANSI)ANSI/AAMI/ISO 26722:2009 approved 22 March 2011 (AAMI) and 22 April 2011 (ANSI)) to perform dialysis operations for eligible veterans. The delivery and installation is tentatively scheduled to take place in the April/May 2012 timeframe, but may be delayed due to changes in the construction schedule. Solicitation #VA248-12-Q-0129 will be electronically issued in commercial item format, in accordance with FAR Part 12, on or about January 15, 2012.
