- The contractor will remove existing poles, or pad mounted transformer(s), wire and other equipment or pole(s), and reinstall transformer(s) or other equipment or pole(s), as required. The Contractor will remove existing concrete pad, or repair, or construct new; install new or used Trans-closure or chain link fence enclosure over the pad(s); as well as conduct testing, calibration, make adjustments, and re-test, for assessment of all equipment. The contract will also repair all equipment, power lines, or supports in order to complete and make operational 12.47/7.2 Exterior Electrical Distribution System; to include furnish, and install new poles, insulators, brackets or mounts, conductors, personnel and accessories; contractor will also aggregate, or concrete pavement, pad, and finish with seeding and mulching as required. The contractor and all associated personnel shall be qualified and experienced in high voltage distribution power lines. All materials supplied by the contractor shall be specific to conform to the standard of UL, ANSI, IEEE, and NEMO, as well as all field tests shall be current per Safety, and NEC regulations. The maximum estimated value of the life of the contract is $7.5 Million; a total of five years is contemplated (base year and four option periods). NAICS is 237130/$33.5 Million. This solicitation will be available on or about 26 January 2012.
