Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at https://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce online (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. NOTE: The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division, Newport, Rhode Island is not accepting quotes or proposals via submission through NECO. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, Rhode Island has a requirement to acquire services, material, and logistics necessary for the maintenance and operation of the Narragansett Bay Shallow Water Test Facility (NBSWTF) located in Newport, Rhode Island. Services shall include operation and maintenance of the range craft, operation of waterfront facilities, providing mobilization/de-mobilization support, and other specialized services and equipment to meet customer test requirements. This is a follow-on to contract N66604-08-C-0061 with Seaward Services, Inc. A three year (3yr) Cost Plus Fixed Fee type contract is planned. The total estimated Level of Effort is 90,000 man hours. The evaluation criteria includes technical/management approach, past performance, personnel and cost. The award decision will be made using Best Value methodology. This requirement is unrestricted. Full and open competition will be used. Estimated release date of solicitation is the end of February.
