- The Army Contracting Command - National Capital Region (ACC-NCR), on the behalf of the Office of the Provost Marshall General intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) or 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) - FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to National Law Enforcement Telecommunications System, 1918 West Whispering Wind Drive, Phoenix, Arizona 85058-2800. National Law Enforcement Telecommunications System will provide access to a telecommunications switching network that will provide a direct communication link to the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) as well as all individual State Criminal Justice Information Systems in order to exchange free-form criminal justice and criminal justice related information and maintain open communications with other local, state, Federal, and International police agencies. These requirements include: CJIS Query National Crime Information Center Query Sex Offender Registration Query Parole, Probation, And Correction Offender Query Firearms/Weapon Registration Query State Warrant Query Federal Warrant Query State Drivers' License Information and Driving Record Missing and Exploited Children Query Technical support This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted. Interested parties may express their interest and provide a capabilities statement NLT 6 January 2012 at 4:00pm EST. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
