Description

Response Date: January 11, 2012 Response Deadline: 12:00 PM Eastern Time The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) to the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) for providing on-line database access to wage and levy information for 350 IRS employees. This contract to be awarded, for on-line database access on a sole source basis to TWC, as the following circumstances in FAR 13.106-1(b) applies: the TWC database contains proprietary data and information that is not available from any other source. The Government will award a base contract covering 9 months beginning January 12, 2012 with two option periods with the contract expiring September 30, 2014. Contract award is anticipated January 12, 2012. This notice is not a request for quotes; however, all responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to meet the requirements by submitting such capabilities in writing to the IRS Primary Point of Contract. Written response to this notice must be provided to this office no later than Wednesday January 11, 2012 by 12:00 PM Eastern Time. It is solely within the discretion of the Government to evaluate your capabilities and to make a determination to compete this contract action. Any questions to this action should be directed to the IRS Primary Point of Contact.
