Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. No Solicitation is currently available. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contract Office will be issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System, to award a construction contract to a General Contractor for Project 654-11-227, construction renovation of Canteen at the Sierra Nevada Healthcare System located at 975 Kirman Avenue, Reno, NV 89502. Project will consist of the renovation of approximately 11,000 GSF, bottom floor of Building 1. No clinical activities will occur at this location. It is anticipated an RFP will be released on/about March 1, 2012. At this point in the procurement process, the Department of Veterans Affairs is performing market research to determine contractor socio-economic category, e.g. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, 8(a) etc. and, bonding capacity. Interested firms should send, by e-mail only, the following information: Socio-Economic Category; DUNS number; Maximum bonding capability for a single bid and; total maximum bonding capacity. Information shall be sent to rusty.stevenson@va.gov by close of business January 27, 2012. Estimated construction cost is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. Information received will be used in any set aside determination. The NAICS code for this procurement will be 236220.
