THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR BID. THE GOVERFNMENT IS SEEKING INFORMATION FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. The VA Western New York Healthcare System, Buffalo, New York, is conducting market research for the following socio-economic categories: (Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision etc. necessary for an Invitation for Bid for the renovation of wing A into a new, 16 bed, locked Mental Health Unit (WARD 10A MENTAL HEALTH RENOVATIONS). Work will include but not be limited to: demolition, asbestos abatement, metal stud/gyp board walls/ceilings, exterior window, window wall system, counter tops, doors/frames/hardware, metal security ceiling, vct flooring, sheet flooring, HVAC work, plumbing, sprinkler, and electrical work. The estimated construction cost range for this project is between $2,000,000.and $5,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 236220 with a size standard of $33.5 Million. SDVOSB and VOSB who are interested in performing this work as a prime contractor and can provide bonding for a project in the cost range outlined aboveM should e-mail Rosanne.Raczkowski@va.gov to notify the Government of your interest in this project. Subject line of e-mail should read "MARKET RESEARCH - 10A" Include what small business program you qualify for, i.e. SDVOSB or VOSB.
