- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District, intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract with Teledyne Odom Hydrographic Systems Inc citing FAR part 6 subpart 6.302-1. To the best of the Government's knowledge, there are not any other firms that can satisfy this requirement. The work to be done under this contract consists of providing Teledyne Odom Echotrac Single Beam Hydrographic Echo Sounders, model CV x2, P/N 3023-0001-0001; Electronic Chart TFT Screen for Echotrac models MKIII, REVB CV200 & CV300; Very Shallow Survey 200 kHz, 4, Stainless Steel, 55538, Housing, 2.1Kg, P/N SM5W200-4a. Award of this contract will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS, however interested firms may submit a capability statement in response to the above requirement with cost/price information by January17, 2012 @ 11:00 AM local time to Jackie Primer, Contract Specialist, Phone: (901) 544-3340, Fax: (901) 544-3710, Email: Jackie.primer@usace.army.mil. A determination by the Government not to open competition based responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
