Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. All proposals submitted shall be for NEW equipment only. All equipment/software shall be compatible with VISTA Imaging System. Interested vendors shall be required to provide a trade-in value for existing equipment. It is preferred that vendors visit the customer site to evaluate trade-in equipment and properly calculate value. Site visits will be conducted on January 17, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. Appointments to view and appraise trade-in equipment may be made by contacting Fredrick Wilson at 318-990-4095, or by email at Fredrick.Wilson@va.gov. Site visits shall be conducted at vendors own expense (no additional cost to the Government). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation VA256-12-Q-0403 issued as a Full and Open Competition Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-55. No telephone offers will be accepted. Only written offers received directly from the requester are acceptable. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333314. The size standard is 500 Employees.
