- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of medium grade A eggs for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Complex located in Terre Haute, Indiana. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract shall consist of a 12-month period. The estimated contract requirements include: Eggs Grade A Medium, 30 dozen per container. The estimated 12 month base period requirement is for 134,160 dozen eggs. Deliveries will be weekly between 8:00 am and 10:30 am. The solicitation will be available on or about January 12, 2012 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up to date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about February 01, 2012.
