Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) and constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 05-50. This combined synopsis/solicitation is set-aside 100% for small business. North American Industrial Classification Standard 238210 applies to this solicitation; business size standard is $14 million. The following is needed: -Set up, manage, and maintain free commercial internet access for base customers. This included predefined wireless locations and wired connections over existing lines. Location is at the Alpena, MI CRTC http://maps.google.com/maps?q=alpena.crtc The Alpena CRTC will be procuring this as a "Best Value" procurement in accordance with the following evaluation factors. Provision 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items is amended to read: "Evaluation Factors and Sub Factors: -Price -Past Performance -Technical Capability Subfactors -Quality of connection -Quality of implementation plan -Customer Service plan All factors are of equal weight. All subfactors are of equal weight." Quote should include all costs associated with equipment set-up. Interested respondents can propose multiple solutions. Those solutions will be treated as separate quotes. Full implementation date is scheduled for April. Preferred pricing structure will be a onetime set-up cost and a monthly flat service fee (with two option years). Alternative pricing structures are acceptable and will be rated according to the evaluation factors. Include past performance information: other military, commercial, and civilian companies with whom your products have been installed. Include country of manufacture for all equipment items. Include feasible completion dates as well. See attached PWS for more details. Further Building/location details will be released to vendors capable of competing for this requirement, and express in email to TSgt Fisher their need for such information.
