- This Notice is being issued to provide notice that the Department of Veterans Affairs, intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract for Solid Waste Refuse and Disposal Services, NAICS code 562111 and the small business size standard is $12.5 million. This procurement is set-aside 100 percent for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). All interested Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov/ and registered at the VetBiz Vendor Information Pages: www.vip.vetbiz.gov/Public/Register/Benefits.aspx as a SDVOSB firm. The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, repairs/maintenance, supplies, transportation, management and supervision necessary to perform all Municipal Solid Waste Refuse and Disposal Services for the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center, 2002 Holcombe Blvd, Houston, TX 77030; Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks, VAMC, 1100 North College Avenue, Fayetteville, AR 72703; Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center, 1011 Honor Heights Dr., Muskogee, OK 74401; and G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery Medical Center, 1500 East Woodrow Wilson Avenue, Jackson, MS 39216. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The anticipated period of performance for this procurement will be a six (6) month base period of April 1, 2012 through September 30, 2012, plus four (4) additional one-year option periods that may be exercised at the discretion of the Government. The solicitation for this service is anticipated to be issued on or around 1/23/2012.
