- ABIDES - Current Contract Scope This is a request for information (RFI) only and is reserved for small businesses. The Air Force District of Washington (AFDW) is conducting market research to gauge vendor capability and interest in the continuation of current contracted efforts providing systems administration, advanced help desk, and systems engineering support for the Automated Budget Interactive Data Environment System (ABIDES). ABIDES is a database-backed software system (both client-server and web-oriented) used to track and maintain the Air Force budget. Detailed information on current contract scope is attached. This Request for Information (RFI) is not a Request for Proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposal nor will any award be made as a result of this RFI. The Government does not intend to pay for information received in response to this RFI. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with replying to this RFI. The Air Force anticipates this requirement will be solicited and may be solicited in any manner consistent with the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The AFDW requests interested parties submit capability packages that contain no more than three contract references in the past five years relevant to the requirement to include contract number, agency supported, brief description of effort, prime or subcontractor status, period of performance, original contract value, final or current contract value, and technical monitor with contract information. All packages must contain the following information: name and address of responding company, company point of contact, telephone number, fax number and email addresses, and whether entity is a small, disadvantaged, HUB Zone, veteran or woman owned status, or 8(a) business. Responses are limited to 25 pages with no less than 1" margins, Times New Roman 12 point font in MS Word or searchable ".pdf" format. Respondents are notified the Government may publish conclusions of its market research and any proprietary data in respondent's submittal should be marked as such.
