- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to modify Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-10-G-0003 on a sole source basis to place a class of orders for the duration of two years with Northrop Grumman Corporation, San Diego, CA in support of the Fire Scout Vertical Take-off and Landing Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (VTUAV) Program. These orders will consist of supplies and UAS maintenance and logistical services for existing Fire Scout UAS deployments, engineering and technical studies and investigations, support to resolve fleet generated software and hardware issues, participation in demonstrations and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs). Northrop Grumman is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the VTUAV and the Ground Control Systems (GCS). Accordingly, Northrop Grumman is the only firm with the unique knowledge, experience, technical expertise and understanding of the Fire Scout design and architecture to perform these efforts.
