Description

The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source delivery order with Automed Technologies Inc to provide and install Drug Dispensing Carts for the William S. Middleton VAH in Madison WI. Automed Technologies Inc is the only vendor who is capable of providing Drug Carts that are compatible with the existing drug dispensing system currently being used at the facility. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 8.405-6 Limited Source Justification Approval and no other vendor will satisfy agency requirements. The Delivery order will be firm fixed price and F.O.B. Destination. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by 2:00 PM (EST) Feb 1st, 2012. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer, VAMC GLAC, 5000 W. National Ave Bldg. 5, Milwaukee WI 53295 or via fax to (414) 902-5511 or via email to robert.steed@va.gov. TELEPHONIC INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the GLAC will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Automed Technologies Inc.
