Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Health Care System, Manchester, NH, intends to negotiate a contract with McQuay Service for a maintenance agreement with the Manchester VA Health Care System under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 238220 and the size standard is $14 million. The award will be issued as a firm-fixed-price contract including but not limited to the following: maintenance and repair service to the three McQuay air conditioning chillers located in the lower level of building 2W at the Newington, CT VAMC. Due to the proprietary characteristics of the McQuay chillers, no other vendors with the unique capabilities are able to provide the necessary services. This notice is not a request for quotations. No solicitation will be issued and proposals will not be accepted. However, any business that believes it can meet these requirements and possesses the financial capacity with relevant past experience and expertise may give written notice to the Contracting Officer within five (5) days from this notice's publication date. Supporting evidence must be provided in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements.
