- Recycle Synopsis This solicitation is for the purchase of recyclable paper, commingled cans and bottles (aluminum and bimetal cans, glass and plastic bottles), used laser/toner printer cartridges, and used inkjet printer cartridges generated on Government-owned and Government-operated premises and other locations in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The Washington, DC metropolitan area includes the District of Columbia, Montgomery County, Prince George's County, the cities of Alexandria and Falls Church, and Arlington, Fairfax, Loudon, and Prince William counties. The initial Contract period will be for 1 year, with the Government having the unilateral option to extend services for four (4) consecutive 12-month option periods. The proposed contract start date is June 1, 2012; contractor performance will be dependent upon GSA Security Clearance. The procurement is open to both large and small business concerns. All responsive/responsible offers will be given consideration for award. THIS PROCUREMENT IS OPEN TO VENDORS LOCATED WITHIN THE COMMUTING WASHINGTON, DC METROPOLITAN AREA. The solicitation will be posted electronically through the following website: www.fedbizopps.gov on or about February 10, 2012. All interested parties may download the solicitation from the internet.
