- This requirement is for a Five Year Firm-Fixed Price Requirements contract with a Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) of 2 EA for the Basic Period and a BEQ of 2 EA for Options I-IV. This acquisition is for the repair of a Ground Speed/Drift Angle Indicator, NSN: 6605-01-302-2073 SO, Part Number: 857922-211 64159999 1K01. The Ground Speed/Drift Angle Indicator is the right LCD Display Module that makes up the Drift Angle-Ground Speed Indicator Pilot Display Unit (PDU). The Ground Speed/Drift Angle Indicator displays parameters depending on the selected flight mode. General characteristics of the item are as follows: approximate length – 2.8”; approximate width – 1.7”; approximate height – 2.0”; approximate weight – 1.0 lbs; item material – LCD display module, electronic components. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, this proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with limited sources. The sources are as follows: ADS/Transicoil (CAGE Code 65907); Oppenheimer Precision Products (CAGE Code 02995); and Teledyne Technology, Inc. (CAGE Code 98571). Interested person(s) may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals in accordance with the Request for Proposal (RFP). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received within the 30 days after issuance of solicitation, or within 30 days after the publication date of this synopsis will be considered. The RFP will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities web page (http://www.fbo.gov/). All questions regarding the RFP must be submitted in writing to the buyer (jennifer.lewis@robins.af.mil).
