- Pre-Solicitation Notice. This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice and is a request for formal proposals or quotes. A formal solicitation exists at this time and will be published by close of business today (1/26/2012). The VAMC Hampton currently has the need for a contractor(s) to provide all labor, tools, equipment, supplies, materials, expertise and supervision necessary to perform inspection and verification of medical gas systems located in various buildings at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Hampton, Virginia. This procurement is 100% Small Business set-aside. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Prospective contractors must be registered and current in the following websites: http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov, http://www.ccr.gov, and https://orca.bpn.gov to be eligible for award. Solicitation documents will be available on or about February 13, 2012. All proposals are due by 1:00 p.m. local time March 13, 2012 at the VA Medical Center, Facilities Management Services VISN 5 Contract Satellite Office 510 Butler Ave., Building 308B (Conference Room) Martinsburg, WV. The procurement is subject to availability of funds. This synopsis is a solicitation announcement for proposals and a contract will be awarded from this announcement.
