- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, La Tuna, intends to issue solicitation RFQP05101200006 for the water storage tank paint removal. The project consists of furnishing all equipment, materials, and labor for the paint removal and field preparation of one water storage tank located at the Federal Correctional Institution, La Tuna, Anthony, Texas. The water storage tank is a 500,000 gallon above ground steel water storage tank. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238990. The performance period is 120 calendar days after receipt of the notice to proceed. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000.00 and $75,000.00. The solicitation will be available on or about February 9, 2012. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is approximately March 12, 2012. This solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Service's Administration Federal Business Opportunities website https://www.fbo.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this solicitation, including any amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. All offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration at https://www.ccr.gov. Each offeror is required per FAR 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On Line Representation and Certification Application (ORCA) at https://orca.bpn.gov. Faith Based and Community Based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. This is a 100% small business set-aside.
