- Description
- This contract is to provide contamination detectors to the Joint Project Manager for Nuclear Biological and Chemical Contamination Avoidance (JPM NBC CA) who will conduct the M3TD project that includes a data collection effort of contact and non-contact sensors for systems in the following core technology categories: (Category A) Ion Mobility Spectrometer (IMS), (Category B) Raman, (Category C) Mass Spectrometer (MS), (Category D) Infrared (IR), or (Category E) Other. The M3TD hardware will be challenged against vapor, solid and liquid chemical compounds in accordance with the system's capabilities in order to evaluate the state of technology for detection of a variety of Chemicals of Interest (COI), which potentially will lead to refinement of current technology to meet future capability requirements in support of Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (CBRN) defense programs.
