- Description
- The Government intends to issue an unrestricted procurement for the delivery of Liquid Nitrogen (LN2), Bulk, TYPE II, Grade "B" of Commercial Item Description, Nitrogen, Technical A-A-59503C, dated 3 Mar 2011 delivered f.o.b. Destination into Government-owned tanks at TYNDALL AFB, FL. The contract ordering period will be four years and five months from 1 April 12 - 30 September 16. The total estimated contract quantity is as follows: Contract Year 1: 73,000, Year 2: 146,000 Gallons, Year 3: 146,000 Gallons, Year 4: 146,000 Gallons, Year 5: 146,000 Gallons for a total quantity of 657,000 Gallons. The Government intends to award one Fixed Price Requirements contract using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Commercial Acquisition procedures. Offerors are required to have the capability to support bulk shipments. Award will be made to the offeror determined to be the Best Value to the Government, price and other factors considered, using the Best Value Source Selection Process. Specifically, the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable Source Selection Process will be utilized in accordance with FAR 15.101-2. Subject solicitation will be issued on or about 3 February 2012 and posted to the FedBizOpps web page at www.fbo.gov.
