- Amendment 008 Solicitation SB1341-12-RP-0005 The purpose of this amendment is to provide responses to questions posed by potential offerors. The questions and their responses are detailed below: Questions & Responses 1. Is the 1920 hours a fixed ceiling number all must bid or may we bid our best estimate? Response: Offerors must propose for 1920 hours. However, Offerors may propose an alternative solution that in your opinion will fully satisfy the NIST requirement, assuming that by "best estimate" you mean you have an alternative solution. 2. Is the person with 1370 hours a FTE who begins later in the year or a person who starts at the beginning of the task order? Response: It is expected that the referenced contractor employee would be available for work throughout the period of performance but the level of effort estimated for this employee is only approximately 1,370 hours during the period of performance of task order 1, whereas the estimated level of effort for the other contractor employees is estimated at 1,920 hours.
