- The Internal Revenue Service intends to issue a sole source contract to Xerox Corporation, 7900 West Park Drive, McLean, VA 22102-4242 under authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(2) as implemented by FAR 6.302 for copier hard drive disposal services. This service will include approximately 1600 copiers for the inspection and removal of all hard drives prior to the copier being released to the contractor at the end of each lease agreement. The anticipated period of performance is for one – eight month base period and one – twelve month option period. Xerox Corporation is one of the current contractors providing services for IRS offices in various locations nationwide. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. No solicitation will be issued, therefore, all requests for the solicitation will be considered non-responsive. All Treasury contractors are required to register in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to execution of award. An award will be made to Xerox Corporation, within 5 days of this notice. This notice closes February 2, 2012 at 2:00pm EST.
