- Repair Infrared Camera PWS FA4460-12-T-0011 Repair Infrared Camera. Solicitation/RFQ The contractor shall provide all labor, parts and other items necessary to repair a Striker Fire Truck 06L00340 (Infared Camera). The camera was damaged when a garage door fell on it during a tornado. The camera is damaged both externally and internally. The camera will be shipped to the contractor and the contractor is responsible for return shipping after repairs are complete. This is an airplane camera made by L-3 Communications Electro-Optical Systems altered to work on Crash-Rescue fire trucks. The interface program for the camera is the proprietary property of L-3 and Crash-Rescue. The picture below is the camera installed on the fire truck snozzle. The snozzle is designed to punch a hole in the aircraft skin and allow the operator to see inside the aircraft on a monitor in the fire truck which is interfaced through the camera.
