- This pre-solicitation notice is published in accordance with FAR Part 5.101, for actions to be defined within FAR Part 13. This will be the only notice of this intended requirement, and formal proposals are NOT being requested or accepted at this time. The US Customs and Border Protection Agency, Office of Border Patrol Headquarters, Detroit Sector located at Selfridge Air National Guard Base (SANGB) in Michigan, requires facilities maintenance support for general operations at the Sector. The nature of the work will require the selected vendor to be flexible and prepared to meet any reasonable facilities-maintenance based tasking within the scope of the actual requirements to be set forth in the actual solicitation. There is currently no solicitation action for this requirement. It is the intent of this office to solicit written proposals from the local trade area within the month of February 2012, including the current incumbent vendor, in accordance with the requirements outlined in FAR Part 13.106-1. The solicitation will be a total small-business set-aside action per FAR Part 19.502-2, with the further restriction of Veteran Owned Business (VOB) only. This will be the only notification of this pending action.
