Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Eastern Logistics Service Area, College Park, GA has a requirement for the Relocation of the ASR-9 Building and Tower, Fort Lauderdale International Airport, Fort Lauderdale Florida 33312. This Requirement is FULL and OPEN Competition and is open to all qualified businesses. To be considered for the award of this project, the contractor must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (website: www.ccr.gov). The NAICS code for the acquisition is 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction) This solicitation is issued on Monday; January 30, 2012 with all offers are due on Wednesday; February 29, 2012; 4:00 p.m. (EST) The Anticipated start date of project is Summer 2012. A site visit will be held on Wednesday; February 15 at 1:00 p.m., at: 2755 Southwest 42nd Street, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33312. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
