- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Due to proprietary information/ rights, the Corpus Christi Army Depot, Corpus Christi, Texas intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 6.302. This requirement is for two (2) Swage pumps, one(1)swage pump field repair kit and one (1) Swage Head Assembly for existing Kits in use at the Corpus Christi Army Depot, Corpus Christi, Texas. Negotiations to be conducted solely with Wesco Aircraft Hardware Corporation, the authorized distributor for Perwaswage, Inc., because the replacement parts and assemblies must fit existing kits manufactured by Permaswage Inc. This synopsis is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all proposals received by the closing date will be considered by the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
