Description

This is a special notice for informational purposes only. The 23rd Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole source contract to Mahr Federal for the purpose of repairing an Optimar 100 Dial Indicator Calibrator (7025643 Control Board, PM/Calibration). The justification for restricting competition is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 6.302-1 (Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements). A post-award notice will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) identifying the 23rd Contracting Squadron's Justification and Approval of this sole-source procurement to Mahr Federal for purchase. If you are capable to provide this service and request to be considered for this action, inquiries must be submitted in writing, email, or facsimile (229 257-3547) to the following POCs: michael.mcfadden@moody.af.mil; woodard.moore@moody.af.mil, NO LATER THAN 6 FEB 12 @ 3:00 P.M. This is NOT a request for Proposal and does NOT constitute any commitment by the Government. Responses to this Special Notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions.
