- 1. It has been determined necessary and in the best interest of the Government to issue Amendment #0001 to Solicitation: W911N2-12-T-0027. The purpose of this amendment is to post Questions & Answers and extend the proposal due date to February 3, 2012 by 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST). The following delineates: Question #1: Provide us the estimated number of stops per week along with the estimated mileage per week? Answer #1: This question is not applicable. The Request for Quote (RFQ) is for the rental/lease of 2 trilers only, we have our own trucks to pull the trailers. The trailers will be used on and around Letterkenny Army Depot approximately 25 miles/day from building to building. Question #2: Will cargo insurance of $100,000 cover the product that will be hauled? Answer #2: The Vendor is not required to have insurance to cover cargo insurance since we are responsible for the hauling. Question #3: Do you need a headache rack, if so on trailer or tractor? Answer #3: Specs Para. 2.3 48" steel bulkhead is the headache rack. Question #4: Will our drivers require any special clearance to enter Letterkenny Army Depot and operate the semi-trailers? Answer #4: Vendor is checked in at gate and our employees will meet vendor for delivery of trailers. Our employees will be driving our trucks on depot that will be pulling the rental/leased trailers. 2. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
