- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this procurement is FW148-12-01312012 and this is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This announcement will be issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation. This requirement is a 100% set aside for Small Business. The anticipated award will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract; the award will be made based on the lowest price technically acceptable. This solicitation shall incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-54. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336413. The SB size standard for this code is 1,000. NOTICE TO OFFEROR: FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT. AWARD IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDS BECOMING AVAILABLE; ALL PROPOSALS NEED TO BE VALID FOR 30 DAYS. The Minnesota Air National Guard, Duluth has a requirement for the following items; General Electric Junction Box, and cable assembly. In addition, this is a "Brand Name or Equal" Request for Quote: Vendors wishing to submit an "or equal" must include descriptive literature with their quote. In addition, it is the vendor's responsibility to cross references all items in such a manner that the Government can quickly and easily review and evaluate each "equal to item. Time does not permit lengthy delay for evaluation. Vendor shall furnish the following items: L/I 0001 General Electric, Junction Box, P/N 1419M34G01, NSN 5975-01-570-5615 Quantity 1 each L/I 0002 General Electric, Cable Assembly, P/N 1419M36P06, 33D7-50-887-4 FIG 2-44 Quantity 1 each The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror-Commercial, applies to this solicitation. Request for Quotation should be submitted and shall contain the following information: Solicitation Number; Time Specified for receipt of offers; Name; Address; Telephone Number of Offeror; Terms of the expressed warranty; Price, Payment terms, Any discount terms, CAGE code, DUNS number, Tax ID number and acknowledgment of all solicitation amendments.
