- Description: This synopsis is for the proposed award of a 5-month Performance Base Logistics (PBL) contract to support the AEGIS Weapon System : SPY Transmitter Group, and the MK99 Fire Control System with Raytheon Company (CAGE: 5D744). The contractor will be responsible for: requirements determination, inventory management, requisition processing, warehousing, packaging, shipping, receiving, tracking, reporting, resolving obsolescence issues, meeting performance metrics, and repairing or manufacturing approximately 412 national stock number (NSN) line items. This 5-month contract is to provide for continued, uninterrupted PBL coverage from the expiration date of the current PBL contract N00104-07-D-ZD51 until the anticipated award of a follow-on 5-year PBL contract. Raytheon will provide all the above described PBL support to the U.S. Navy customers.
