- This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Parts 12 and 13). THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2 - THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL QUOTES UNTIL THE RFQ IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. The 409th CSB, RCO Stuttgart anticipates a requirement for Custodial Services to be performed at DISA facility in Stuttgart, Germany. This is a non-personal services performance-based contract to provide custodial services in Stuttgart, Germany. Contractor shall be prepared to provide all labor, management, tools, equipment, supplies, chemicals, supervision, transportation, and other items or services to ensure custodial services are performed at the location specified. Anticipated period of performance is 1 April 2012 through 31 March 2013. Anticipated award date is 15 March 2012. Full performance is anticipated to begin 1 April 2012. In addition, the Government may further extend the performance period for up to six months under FAR 52.217-8. This is an unrestricted full and open competitive acquisition. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. Solicitation No: W91WFU-12-T-0003 will be issued as a Request for Quote. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 7349, business size of $16.5M and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 561720 (Janitorial Services). All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. Potential offerors must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award to include German vendors. (See Internet Site: http://www.ccr.gov). Payment for this acquisition will be made through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) System. Contractors must be registered in WAWF to include German vendors, see internet site: https://wawf.eb.mil for registration. Information concerning this solicitation will be issued electronically and posted on or about 13 February 2012, at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Prospective offerors are responsible for checking ASFI to obtain solicitation documents and any amendments or other information pertaining to the solicitation. No paper, email or fax copies will provided. Responsibility for obtaining the solicitation solely rests with potential offerors. Information contained herein is subject to change and does not bind the Government to any action or responsibility for any costs arising from quote preparation or other efforts resulting from this notice. NO ADDITIONAL INFORMATION WILL BE PROVIDED AT THIS TIME. TELEPHONE CALLS, E-MAILS, HAND DELIVERIES, POSTAL MAILINGS AND FAXES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED DURING THIS TIME.
