- Description
- This is a written synopsis to all interested parties, in accordance with FAR 5.303(a), publically announcing that multiple-award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contracts resulting from Solicitation Number QTA010CTA0010 have been awarded. Custom SATCOM Solutions-Small Business (CS2-SB) is a three-year base plus two one-year option ID/IQ vehicle providing End-to-End solutions consisting of any combination of fixed satellite services or mobile satellite services components, and/or service enabling components such as terminals, teleport, and terrestrial interface tail circuits. After review and evaluation in accordance with the criteria established in the solicitation, GSA has determined to make contract awards to four offerors of the nineteen offers received. The solicitation states that, The Government anticipates awarding multiple contracts from this solicitation to the responsible Offerors whose proposals are the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered... For an offer to be eligible for award, the Offeror must agree to all terms and conditions of the solicitation and must not receive a rating of Unacceptable for the Technical/ Management or Corporate Experience factor... When combined, Technical/Management, Corporate Experience, and Past Performance are significantly more important than Factor 4 (Price). In accordance with these criteria, award selection was made to the following companies that were determined to provide the Government the best value under this acquisition: •· UltiSat, Inc. •· AIS Engineering, Inc. •· Knight Sky Consulting and Associates, LLC •· By Light, Professional IT Services, Inc. All four offerors were sent individual award notices on Tuesday, February 1, 2012. In addition to these four offerors, award to one additional offeror is pending. GSA plans to update the selection list to identify when and if award to a fifth offeror has been made. Procuring Agencies interested in Custom SATCOM Solutions-Small Business (CS2-SB) should refer to www.gsa.gov/satserv for more information about when the contract will be ready for use. SBA's decision on the one pending award is expected later in February 2012. Written correspondence may be sent to the Contracting Officer at: Email: jenni.lewis@gsa.gov Mail: Jenni K.
