Description
THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE. As originally announced in Solicitation Number NGJ-TDINDDAY-09JAN2012, the Naval Air System Command (NAVAIR) intends to conduct Industry Days for the Next Generation Jammer (NGJ) Technology Development (TD) Phase. The Program Executive Office for Tactical Aircraft Programs (PEO(T))(PMA234) intends to release a Competitive (Full and Open) Solicitation to seek proposals for further technology development that addresses the NGJ requirements. The Industry Days will occur in Pt Mugu, CA from 14 to 16 February 2012 and Patuxent River, MD from 22 to 23 February 2012. The Point Mugu Industry Days will focus on EA-18G onboard system and Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) integration. The Patuxent River Industry Days will focus on EA-18G aircraft integration and overall program execution. These Industry Days are intended solely for prospective NGJ TD prime contractors and major subcontractors involved in aircraft or system integration. The Pt Mugu Industry Day will cover EA-18G onboard and Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) systems on 14 February 2012, jammer techniques and jammer management on 15 Feb 2012, and Pt Mugu Lab capabilities on 16 February 2012. Prospective TD contractors shall submit attendee names and which days they plan to attend to Mary Dodds (mary.dodds@navy.mil) by 9 February 2012. If the number of personnel attending exceeds location capacity, contractors may be limited to 4 personnel from each business unit/site attending a brief at the same time. Security clearances shall be sent to Lucretia Vicuna, lucretia.vicuna@navy.mil, JPAS SMO# 631266, Phone: 805-989-3708, Fax: 805-989-4830, by 9 February 2012. Detailed meeting information including location and the final agenda will be forwarded after receipt of attendee names. Prospective prime contractors with their respective integration teams may request 1-on-1 meetings with the government on 16 February 2012. Such requests are to be made to Mary Dodds (mary.dodds@navy.mil) by 8 February 2012. These 1-on-1 meetings will be predominantly technical in nature and will address platform integration issues. The Patuxent River Industry Day will cover aircraft and aeromechanical aspects of NGJ integration onto the EA-18G on 22 February 2012. Prospective TD contractors shall submit attendee names and which days they plan to attend to Mary Dodds (mary.dodds@navy.mil) by 15 February 2012. If the number of personnel attending exceeds location capacity, contractors may be limited to 4 personnel from each business unit/site attending a brief at a given time. Detailed meeting information including location and the final agenda will be forwarded after receipt of attendee names. Prospective prime contractors may request 1-on-1 meetings with the government on 23 February 2012, with the main focus on overall programmatic discussion. Such requests are to be made to Mary Dodds (mary.dodds@navy.mil) by 15 February 2012. All information presented, along with all questions and answers will be provided to every participating contractor to ensure consistency, fairness, and to avoid repetitive coverage of the same information. NAVAIR will NOT assume liability for costs incurred for travel expenses, presentations, marketing efforts or data offered for examination; therefore the cost of preparing information in response to this notice is not considered an allowable direct charge to the Government.
