- SEE ATTACHED SCOPE OF WORK AND SPECIFICATIONS. This Sources Sought Notice is issued for informational and planning purposes only. This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, Installation Division is currently conducting market research to locate qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources. The information requested by this sources sought will be used within the Army to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this request. This sources sought is in accordance with the acquisition policy as stated in Part 10, Market Research, of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) that market research may involve interactive on-line communication between Government and Industry. ACC, APG Installation Division is seeking to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of Small Business Community to perform and complete the roof repair, maintenance and replacement for numerous types of roofing. The type of solicitation to issue will depend upon the responses to this sources sought. The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the responsive contractors. It is the Governments intention to award a single contract. The prime contractor must be capable of performing 50% of the work. Work will be awarded under multiple task orders with a period of performance that may run concurrently and/or simultaneously. The contractor shall be required to furnish all plans, labor, material, equipment, and services incidental to performing all work during construction associated with roof repair, maintenance and replacement for numerous types of roofing. All work shall be performed on individual delivery orders at Aberdeen Area and Edgewood Area. The length or duration of this contract is five (5) years (one base year and four option years). North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this acquisition is 238160. Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS code is $14 Million. Offeror's response to this notice shall be limited to 3 pages and include the following information: Offeror's name, address, point of contact, phone number, and email address. Offeror's capability to meet all work associated with roof repair, maintenance and replacement for numerous types of roofing. Offerors capability to perform multiple projects on large buildings simultaneously. Offeror's capability to have worked or completed the work associated with roof repair, maintenance and replacement for numerous types of roofing within the past 5 years - brief description of the project, customer name, timeliness of performance, customer satisfaction, and dollar value of the project. Offeror's type of small business and Business Size (whether HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, 8(a), etc... Offeror's Joint Venture information if applicable - existing and potential. Offeror's Bonding Capability (construction bonding level per contract and aggregate construction bonding level, both expressed in dollars). Government E-mail will be the primary source of communication for this Sources Sought Request. No questions will be accepted or answered until the solicitation phase.
