- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has a requirement for Dornier DO-228 PILOT TRAINING FOR FLIGHT STANDARDS OPERATIONS INSPECTORS AND AIRCRAFT CERTIFICATION PILOTS EMPLOYED BY THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION (FAA). The FAA contemplates award of an Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract for a 1-year base period with two 1-year option periods. NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 611512, Flight Training, with a Small Business Size Standard of $25.5 million. If downloading is not possible, all requests for copies of the SIR document(s) must be made in writing to the attention of Misty McGlugritch, Contract Specialist (AMQ-310), via e-mail at misty.mcglugritch@faa.gov. Technical and cost proposals are due no later than 3:00 p.m. local time (Central Time Zone), March 5, 2012 and must be submitted to FAA, Customer Service Desk (AMQ-100), Physical Address: 6500 South MacArthur Boulevard, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73169. Mailing Address: P.O. Box 25082, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73125. The proposal must be sealed and labeled as follows: SIR/RFO DTFAAC-12-R-00242, due 3:00 p.m. CST, March 5, 2012. Offerors submitting proposals by hand-delivery will need to consider allowing sufficient time to process through the security procedures in place at MMAC. Overnight delivery of responses to this SIR/RFO may also be impacted if not sent in sufficient time to allow for the special mail-handling procedures in place at MMAC. In accordance with SIR Section L provision 3.2.2.3-14 entitled, "Late Submissions, Modifications, and Withdrawals of Submittals," any proposals received after the due time and date of 3:00 p.m. CST, March 5, 2012 will not be considered. In addition, if all requested information is not furnished in the offeror's proposal, the offeror's proposal may be determined to be non-responsive and ineligible for consideration for contract award.
