Description
DRAFT Performance Work Statement - Development of Educational Training Packages United States Peace Corps Development of Educational Training Packages SYNOPSIS This is a PRE-SOLICITATION SYNOPSIS. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. This Notice does not constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP) or an Invitation for Bids (IFB), nor does its issuance restrict the Government to any ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this notice, nor pay for any information that may be submitted by respondents to this Notice. DESCRIPTION The Peace Corps plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to obtain professional development of various educational training materials to support trainers and to educate Peace Corps Volunteers (PCV) abroad at post. The solicitation number will be PC-12-R-003. The solicitation will be issued on or about February 20, 2012 with an anticipated proposal due date of March 30, 2012. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary professional and educational support services as required to develop training packages for the Peace Corps' Office of Overseas Programming and Training Support (OPATS) and Office of Global Health and HIV (OGH/H). Descriptions of this requirement are included in the attached "Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS)". The Period of Performance is to begin on or about May 1, 2012 through April 30, 2013 with four one-year option years. The principal NAICS code is 611710 - Educational Support Services, and the size standard is $7.0 million. This acquisition is 100% unrestricted. The resulting contract will be an IDIQ. Contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at https://orca.bpn.gov/login.aspx
